Eid meaning the diamond


Lebaran the diamond is one of the results of cultural acculturation Indonesia with Islam. Lebaran rhombus or known by other terms syawalan has become a tradition of Javanese society, the diamond Eid implement in all areas, implementation is the same that on the seventh day after the Eid al-Fitr. Lebaran the diamond can only be found in Indonesian society with the aim of implementation is the same as the purpose for days Eid, namely mutual mema'afkan and bersilaturahim. This mema'afkan another term in Indonesia society better known as "Halal Bihalal".
Eid tradition of the diamond which was held on the seventh day of Shawwal month is also a typical Indonesian tradition commonly referred to as "small feast" after fasting for six days of Shawwal or fasting is small compared with that preceded Eid Ramadan fasting for 1 month. In accordance with the sunnah of the prophet, after commemorating Eid, Muslims disunnahkan fasting for six days, which for Muslims in Indonesia later celebrated as Eid Ketupat or Syawalan.Lebaran is a term often used community in welcoming Idul Fitri. Lebaran itself comes from the root word Java language "Width" means completed, already elapsed. Mean the word "width" here is already passing of the month of Ramadan, on completion of obligatory fasting during Ramadan until it was time for entry of Shawwal
